NOW HIRING!!! Diggity Doggy is looking to hire a TRULY EXCEPTIONAL, and EXPERIENCED, individual to be a dog handler/assistant, that also has the desire to be trained to manage in the near future. Please know up front, we only strive for the very best for our Diggities, and will only consider the very best to work with them.
We are looking to hire that “exceptional” someone:
That has clearly proven to their past/present employers, and themselves, that they are exceptional employees and overall individuals.
With stable, consistent work experience in dog handling and/or dog training.
To help provide the safest, most comfortable, and most respectful environment for our Diggities. 7+ years without any fights or vet emergencies is a very clear sign of how seriously we take this; the bar has been set very high.
To help us provide only the highest levels of customer service, backed by kindness, patience, experience, know-how, and understanding.
To help provide more of a local and social media presence, in order to spread the word about our unique program.
To help us keep our facility VERY clean and healthy for our Diggities.
To help us handle all other aspects of caring for our Diggities.
That knows what they want, is highly selective about what jobs they take/want, and is interested in a long term future with us (rather than something temporary to pay the bills or to get by with while actively looking for the next job/being open to taking the next job).
Future possibilities:
Management
Profit sharing
Higher pay
Starting pay:
We are willing to pay exceptionally well, but only for those that produce the overall results we are striving for, so starting off and until consistent results are clearly proven through time, starting pay will be $15/hour plus commission. Commissions will be based on bringing in new business from spreading the word about our unique program.
Interested? Does your version of “exceptional” match ours? Email us a cover letter and resume to diggitydoggy@yahoo.com. In your cover letter:
Tell us what makes you “exceptional” for this specific position and overall (per the above job expectations and whatever you feel is applicable), what you’ve learned is important to us (based on our website, social media, and customer reviews), and whatever else you feel is important for us to know about you. The more details, the better; we are not looking for a standard, re-useable, templated cover letter.
Tell us how far, in minutes per your preferred map app, that you live from our facility.
Tell us your available hours, including weekends and holidays, while including how many hours you are willing to work per week (maximum and minimum).
Please note: Job dates will be verified, references will be checked, background and credit check will be completed after the initial interview (if a job offer is being considered and with written permission). Please let us know when emailing your cover letter/resume whether or not this is an issue for you.
We will be in touch if we feel like you’re a good fit, after careful review of your cover letter and resume. Hopefully you’re exactly who we are looking for!
Thanks for your time!
